Saw a tweet that said “Today at work I was @ drive thru & the man @ the window wanted to pay for the woman behind him & he said "tell her I think she’s hot” so she pulls in next and I tell her and she rolls her eyes, smiles & says “that’s my husband” and if that’s not relationship goals idk what is" and couldn’t stop myself.
One moment I live happily, but then I remember how Buck broke down in front of Chris after he found out Eddie was going to be ok, and Chris hugged him and they both cryied together, and I start cry too every time
Can’t imagine what the scene where Eddie told Chris about Buck’s coma would do to my heart(still dream about it tho)
Buck and Eddie were expecting to have a little girl.
When their baby girl is born a baby boy, instead, Buck is suddenly confronted with everything he’s been ignoring since he learned about Daniel every time he looks at his son. . or; buck and eddie have a baby boy, and buck spirals a little bit.
“You know, your dad is… he’s tough as nails. He’s a fighter, right? […then he’s going to be okay, right?] Yeah, I think so, buddy.” // “It’s going to be okay, Buck.”
If I remember correctly, there was an interview with T*m and Kr*sten where one of them or both of them insinuated that Maddie’s comment about Buck’s boy crush, the Instagram live comments, and the Christmas Elf were just “jokes”. Which I really don’t buy into.
Because in “Hen Begins” they established with one of the scenes that the “calling straight people gay” jokes aren’t that funny. But then several years later, they’re like yeah those little nods to Buddie were just little jokes, silly little gags haha, but were they really???
Looking back at the show and rewatching it makes me think they were planning on doing something more with Buck and Eddie’s relationship and their family dynamic with Christopher, but something changed their mind.
Or maybe I’m just reading too much into what a couple of showrunners are saying. Sometimes people are weird and contradictory to themselves, and they do things that don’t make sense. But either way, whether those little moments were intentionally making fun of the shippers or not, I still think it’s weird that they were so confident in saying that they were a joke in the first place.
